YOUTH PROGRAMMING

Arts Assembly A2 is grounded in process based arts education: from movement, to theater, to visual arts, we approach the arts experientially. We offer movement based and theater based classes, workshops, performance opportunities, as well as interdisciplinary day adventures and camps.

Youth Classes

Contemporary movement research for beginners, pre-professionals, and professional movement practitioners, with classes, workshops, and intensives exploring fundamental movement pathways, adaptability through play, coordination and rhythmic action, balance and totality through full bodied encounters, as well as floorwork progressions, soft acrobatics, partnering, improvisation, choreographic research, dance theater methodologies, and acting.

Pre-Professional Contemporary Dance Workshops & Intensives

We offer workshops and week long intensives for pre-professional rising dance artists interested in building their confidence and skill sets in contemporary movement, floorwork, partnering, improvisation and composition.
