Storyscapes 6/10/26 Day Adventure

What are we exploring?

During this Day Adventure we will explore Storyscapes: the landscapes of our world and our imagination will help us to create art from natural to surreal landscapes (deserts, cities, forests, mountains, as well as magic kingdoms, fairy forts, alien planets, and everything else we can dream up): think landscape drawing, site specific and terrain inspired movement, and theater scenes where we embody place, all as avenues of inquiry where kids can imagine where they are or could be! Arts Assembly provides a creative and active space for kids to explore the arts on days that A2 public schools are out. Kids spend the day playfully exploring movement, theater, music and the visual arts. We love collaborative exploration, problem solving, and innovative solutions inspired by creativity. Led by U-M Professors in the Performing Arts, local teachers and artists, Arts Assembly is your downtown arts resource for the whole family.
